March 20 2020
In light of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, all of our imminent fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed.
If you do have concerns or questions then please contact the fundraising team [email protected].
Visits and cheque presentations to the hospital
Being based at the hospital, obviously we wish to protect the wellbeing of patients and hospital staff.
Therefore, we will be cancelling all non-essential visits to the hospital (rather than just clinical areas) – including cheque presentations – until further notice. Should this affect you, the fundraising team will be contacting you shortly.
Please bear with us
In light of the Government advice around COVID-19, Milton Keynes Hospital Charity staffing in the office will be limited over the coming weeks.
The team are working remotely and will be responding to enquiries as quickly as possible, but please bear with us during this time.
While the situation is constantly changing, what we do know is that Milton Keynes Hospital Charity will continue to be there to support staff and patients at Milton Keynes University Hospital. We are in ongoing contact with the Trust about how best to do this.
If you would like to support the hospital at this time
Firstly, thank you! We are focussing our support on staff wellbeing and patient packs at present. You can support us in the following ways.
- You can donate via our Amazon Wish List, which is updated regularly: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/registry/wishlist/PB56ACM4R0QP/ref=cm_wl_huc_view
- You can make a single or regular donation via our website www.mkhcharity.org.uk
Drop offs of donations to the hospital
Please note, at this exceptional time, if you would like to donate items you can do this via the Wish List (which is delivered directly to our stores team) or email the team. Please do not come into the hospital to drop off items, as much as we’d love to see you!
Thank you for your patience and support.
