dbfb have today announced a significant new partnership with Milton Keynes Hospital Charity.
Milton Keynes Hospital Charity is the registered charity for Milton Keynes University Hospital; whose mission is to make a real difference to the experience of patients, their families and the staff who treat them. The organisation raises money for all wards and departments and its fundraising enables the team to go over and above what the NHS provides – funding specific, tangible items such as state of the art equipment, comfort items for patients, special advanced training for members of staff, pilots for new patient-care initiatives and new welcoming, positive environments for everyone treated in the hospital.
Corporate fundraiser at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity Dawn Clark said: “I am absolutely delighted to announce our partnership with dbfb and their support in 2019 for our Cancer Centre Appeal. We are a local charity benefiting the Milton Keynes community and surrounding areas, so for us it is brilliant to establish partnerships with local businesses such as dbfb. We are really excited to work with the dbfb team and hope 2019 will be a year of fun filled activities raising funds for this vital appeal.”
dbfb’s Charity Executive, Claire Irving added: “We are very proud to be supporting the Milton Keynes Cancer Centre Appeal. The Centre will make such a huge difference to people’s lives who are battling cancer; to have this amazing service on our doorstep instead of having to travel when poorly. We are very much looking forward to working with the team and helping them achieve their goals. Seeing the Cancer Centre come to life upon every visit to site is so very uplifting. I urge all other local businesses to get involved in this amazing cause – which really will make a difference to the Milton Keynes community.”
