Donations of items to enhance patient experience are always welcome – and we’d like to give a big thank you to Sabina, who recently funded three beautiful benches that have been placed in the central courtyard at the cancer centre.
Sabina has been a supporter of the hospital charity for many years and also volunteers in the cancer centre, where she can be found making cups of tea and keeping patients company. She has said about making her most recent donation: “I’m glad to have played a small part in enabling patients and their relatives to find a moment of peace in the courtyard.”
Sally Burnie, head of cancer services at Milton Keynes University Hospital said: “This is a fantastic addition to our cancer centre courtyard, which will enable patients and their relatives to access the outside space in comfort. This was a very generous and heartfelt donation and we are extremely grateful for this ongoing support. Thank you, Sabina!”
