Milton Keynes Hospital Charity was honoured to be invited to BAPS Swaminarayan Satsang Mandal’s (BAPS) annual 10km challenge at Caldecotte Lake on Sunday 4 August, alongside new Milton Keynes MP Emily Darlington.
The BAPS Charities Annual Challenge in the UK is a healthy, fun way of engaging people of all ages and backgrounds in giving back to their local community.
Runita Kholia, Senior Analyst at Bulcher Phillips, who participated in the challenge, said:
A lot of the funds raised from the Charity Challenge went towards Milton Keynes Hospital Charity. Thank you to all the donors who made small dreams turn into big realities.
Kelly Errington, Events & Community Fundraiser at Milton Keynes Hospital Charity, added:
It was a real pleasure to be invited to BAPS Annual Charity Challenge at Caldecotte Lake. We were given the opportunity to introduce our charity and talk about how vital funds raised from events like these support patients, families, and staff at Milton Keynes University Hospital. We then moved onto the ‘cracking of the coconut’ which signalled the start of the 10km walk. It was such a fantastic day and we’re excited to see how our relationship with this lovely community group develops.
