Midsummer Place, the shopping centre at the heart of Milton Keynes, is proudly hosting its annual Christmas Tree Festival for 2024. This community initiative gives local organisations a unique opportunity to sponsor their own Christmas tree to support charities. This year, GXO Logistics has kindly chosen to sponsor Milton Keynes Hospital Charity’s Christmas tree (number 8) and we can’t thank them enough for their support.
Vote for GXO’s Christmas tree to support Milton Keynes Hospital Charity
Up until Christmas Eve, 24 December 2024, take a stroll through the malls at Midsummer Place and admire the 14 Christmas trees, each beautifully decorated by a local business or organisation.
The three trees with the most votes will each receive a cash donation for their nominated charity in the New Year.
If GXO and Milton Keynes Hospital Charity’s tree is a chosen winner (fingers crossed), these funds will go towards supporting vital projects for our youngest patients on wards 4 and 5 at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
What makes our tree extra special is that we asked patients at MKUH if they’d like to handcraft our tree decorations using a variety of arts and crafts materials we provided. These personalised decorations reflect the creativity and spirit of patients, whilst making their time in hospital a little brighter.
As you can see, they thoroughly enjoyed the task at hand!

You can vote for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity’s Christmas tree any time between 16 November and Christmas Eve (24 December) when you visit Midsummer Place. Click here to vote online.
