The Clothing Project at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (MKUH) is an important collaboration between MKUH’s Patient and Family Experience team, our charity, the frailty team, Voluntary Services, and Age UK.
The project ensures patients have suitable clothing to wear when admitted into hospital, and on discharge. At the hospital there are two linen trolleys as well as a number of smaller boxes for each ward, equipped with instructions on how to access clothing when needed.
Kind monetary donations to Milton Keynes Hospital Charity support this project, ensuring it is suitably stocked at all times, but we also receive wonderful support from organisations such as retailers, logistics companies, and merchandise suppliers.
T King Associates is just one of many organisations who have supported our Clothing Project in recent times. With supplies running low, they quickly stepped up, donating brand-new adult daywear, coats, and jackets from their stock.
And Charlotte, pictured right, supports MKUH beyond this as a volunteer for our Maternity Services.
Thank you Charlotte and the T King team
