Milton Keynes Hospital Charity has launched its Christmas Gift Appeal which ensures every patient in hospital on Christmas Day receives a gift. For some, this may be the only present they receive.

We’re aiming to raise £3,000* to buy these gifts, wrap them, and work with wards to hand-deliver them to patients at Christmas. By donating, you’ll be helping us give many people a reason to smile during tough times.

Make your gift go further

If you’re a UK taxpayer, remember to tick the GiftAid box on our donation page—this will add 25p to every £1 you give, at no extra cost to you, making your donation go even further for even more presents for patients!

Please also let us know if your tax status, name, or address ever changes.

Help us make this festive season special

From those feeling alone and isolated, to children receiving treatment and undergoing surgery, your kindness will help us bring joy to those who need it most this Christmas.

*Things to note:

We cannot accept physical gifts for our Christmas Gift Appeal. We’re encouraging monetary donations over physical gifts, as this approach ensures every patient receives a safe, appropriate present while meeting infection prevention standards. Plus, UK tax payers can contribute even more at no cost to them through Gift Aid – for every £1 you donate, GiftAid adds 25p. This means that if you donate £10, and can Gift Aid, it’s actually worth £12.50.

If donations exceed our target of £3,000 for our Christmas Gift Appeal 2024, any additional funds will be directed to where the need is greatest at Milton Keynes University Hospital. This ensures that all donations contribute to supporting the essential projects and services that benefit our patients, families, and staff.
