Volunteer with us
Give the gift of time
We have a wonderful army of volunteers here at Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH), in fact, we have over 100 volunteers across our services!
They’re very special to us and play many important roles, whether they’re keeping patients company on the wards, helping maintain our courtyard gardens, or supporting our small charity team. Our volunteers are also our face and voice in the community!
There are so many good reasons to volunteer. You’ll meet new people, make lifelong friends, and learn plenty of new skills, all whilst giving something back to your local hospital and enhancing patient experience.
Just 3 hours a week is all we ask, unless you’d like to commit more of course! Any questions? Reach out to our friendly Voluntary Services team.
Who can volunteer at MKUH?
We welcome volunteers of all abilities, backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
Everyone has something unique to offer and we do everything we can to make sure our volunteers have a rewarding time with us and their contributions are recognised.
The minimum age to apply for a volunteering role is 16.
