We’re thrilled to share that Jean Reilly Vaughan, Nurse at Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH), has secured a spot in the Great North Run 2024 to raise money for the Cancer Centre.
Jean, known for her incredible dedication and care at MKUH, is taking on the Great North Run challenge on 8 September with a special purpose in mind. Watch her video below and head to her JustGiving page to read her personal fundraising story.

Jean crossed the finish line of the Great North Run in an incredible time of 2:29:19, placing her 21st in her age group. What an amazing achievement!
Not only that, she’s raised over £500 for Milton Keynes Hospital Charity’s Cancer Centre Fund!
