Back in March 2020 we told you that we had been chosen as charity of the year by Leighton Fun Runners!
The club had already made huge strides towards their fundraising with a cake run, and had organised a series of activities which sadly had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
This week we received a special visit from one of their members, Michelle, who handed over a cheque for a whopping £4,265 which has been raised over the past year by members donating entry fees to their cancelled 10K race as well as monthly cake nights!
All money raised will go towards the cancer centre here at Milton Keynes University Hospital – thank you so much!
