We’d like to thank you all once again for the phenomenal response we’ve seen towards our Covid-19 Appeal – helping us to make a difference to patients, their families, and the staff who treat them here at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
Pictured is Mel and Nina sharing their first dance together after receiving a DAB Radio, kindly donated by Natwest Milton Keynes. Having radios in each bay is so important, the atmosphere is positively different, and the staff can encourage patients more to move around to their favourite song.
Mel has missed the radio since being in hospital and is used to listening to it every day at home. Having radios in each bay is perfect because it creates a calming atmosphere as well as bringing a bit of fun to the wards!
