Darren’s 100 mile hike for our Cancer Centre
Darren took part in a 100 mile hike raising money for our Cancer Centre after receiving cancer treatment there.
He couldn’t say thank you enough when we arranged for him to stop by with the money he had raised and some chocolate biscuits for staff!
Firstly I would like to say how well I was treated by everyone at the Cancer Centre. The care and kindness shown by all was and still is brilliant. From the lady that made tea, the cleaning staff, nurses and obviously Mr Dungawalla – each and every one of the staff are brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. I’m just so very grateful to each and every one of you.
I could sing your praises all day. Both physically and mentally the care from you all is fantastic. I’m a lucky, lucky man to still be here and a lot of that luck is down to you all. Thank you.
