But first, coffee… 🍵
White Spire School‘s hugely popular community pop-up café, ‘The Dayly Grind’ is back! And this year they’ve kindly decided to join #TeamGreen and help support patients at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
The Dayly Grind has been popping up at various locations in Milton Keynes over the last few years, and throughout 2024 you’ll find the incredibly hard working teams at The Saplings Children’s Centre and The Frank Moran Centre and MARC serving a delicious range of hot drinks and snacks.
Just take look at this mouth-watering menu…
We couldn’t be more delighted to be a part of this wonderful project. Thank you to The Dayly Grind and White Spire School for your super support! 👍
Parent Coffee Mornings
More coffee, more cake, more support for patients, families, and staff at MKUH.
White Spire School are also holding parent coffee mornings throughout the year to help them achieve their £1,000 fundraising target.
We’ll keep you posted on their progress, but in the meantime, feast your eyes on the homemade treats and say ‘ahh’…
#TeamMKUH visit White Spire School
Lead dementia nurse at Milton Keynes University Hospital, Janet Page, visited The Dayly Grind at White Spire School to see the pop-up coffee shop in action and give an informative talk on dementia. She also shared how the school’s amazing fundraising efforts will benefit patients at MKUH. Here’s Esther sharing what she learnt about dementia from Janet’s session:
Congratulations White Spire School on smashing your fundraising target
Back in September 2024 , students and staff set themselves a fundraising target of £1000 to be achieved by the end of the academic year. Within just four months, hardworking staff and students have already met that target. The fundraising total currently stands at an amazing £1025.21. Well done staff and students – we couldn’t be prouder of you all.
